Geof Cahoon

Geof Cahoon is long time central Boulder resident, activist and local labor leader. His professional experience includes business leadership roles in consumer products, solar energy, the global travel industry and Internet start-ups. Starting in 2004 he became active with MoveOn.org, rising to the level of national coordinator handling volunteers in 11 Western states. Since 2006 Geof has devoted himself to helping working people improve their lives and communities through the labor movement. Between 2006 and 2016 he was a Field Organizer for Colorado WINS, Local 1876 responsible for organizing state employees at CU-Boulder, CDOT, Corrections, and other Colorado state departments. Geof currently serves as the Vice President of the Boulder Area Labor Council, AFL-CIO representing working families in Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Summit and Lake counties.
